Refund / Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. This policy explains what happens if you need to cancel a Paint & Play workshop booking or post-workshop 1:1 creativity session, or if a workshop or session is cancelled or changed by Paint & Play with Ella May.
If you need to cancel
If you can no longer attend your workshop, please get in touch as soon as possible.
Cancellations made 7 days or more before the workshop are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the workshop are non-refundable, but you are welcome to transfer your place to another person.
If you do transfer your booking to someone else, please let Ella know the name of the person attending.
Because workshop places are limited, we are unable to provide refunds for change-of-mind cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop.
If you cannot attend on the day
Unfortunately, refunds are not available for non-attendance or cancellations made on the day of the workshop.
You may still transfer your place to another person where practical. Please contact Ella as soon as possible if you need to do this.
If Paint & Play cancels a workshop
If Paint & Play with Ella May cancels a workshop, you will be offered a full refund of the workshop booking price.
You may also be offered the option to transfer your booking to another workshop where one is available.
Changes to a workshop
Occasionally, circumstances outside our control may require changes to a workshop date, time or location.
If a significant change is made and you are unable or do not wish to attend as a result, you will be given the options available to you, which may include a refund or transfer to another workshop.
1:1 creativity session cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule a 1:1 creativity session, please contact Ella as soon as possible.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made 48 hours or more before the session can be transferred to another available time or refunded.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session are non-refundable.
Refunds are not available for non-attendance on the day of the session.
Refund processing
Approved refunds will be returned using the original payment method.
The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where a service has a major problem, or Paint & Play with Ella May cancels or makes a significant change to a workshop, you may have rights to a refund or other remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
